Edit Kondor

Edit Kondor is an Associate Professor at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), where she serves as Head of the Ceramic Design MA and Designer Maker BA programmes. She has shaped educational structures and supervised design theses ranging from functional design to autonomous art projects.

• Education: M.Sc. in Ceramic Design (MOME), specialized in glass and ceramics at Aalto University (Helsinki), applied arts at Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design (Prague), and ceramics/glass at National College of Art and Design (Dublin)

Her research spans ceramic design, product design, and studio art, with a focus on porcelain sculpture, material innovation, and traditional/innovative ceramic technologies. Recent publications analyze contemporary porcelain tableware culture.

Kondor has advised students on topics from functional design to artistic projects.
