Aneurin Young is a Clinical Lecturer in Child Health at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre. His research focuses on neonatology, clinical nutrition, metabolomics, and statistical modeling, particularly in understanding growth and development of preterm infants through integrated clinical, genomic, and metabolomic data. He completed his PhD at the University of Southampton in 2023, exploring factors influencing preterm infant growth, and joined the university faculty in October 2023 while continuing specialized neonatal training in Wessex Deanery.
