Andy Nogasky serves as Associate Professor of Acting and Chair of Acting & Directing Studies within the Theatre and Dance Department at Baldwin Wallace University. A working professional actor, he has performed on stage and screen across off-Broadway productions, national tours, and renowned regional theatres including The Guthrie Theatre, The Acting Company, and Actor's Theatre of Louisville.
His educational background includes:
- M.F.A. from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University
- B.A. in Theatre from Bucknell University with supplementary training at Atlantic Acting School (New York) and London Dramatic Academy (in association with RADA)
Nogasky's expertise spans classical and contemporary performance disciplines, with specialized focus on vocal techniques, textual analysis, and historical context in theatre. His teaching integrates professional practice with academic rigor across acting, directing, and performance studies.
During his tenure at Baldwin Wallace, he served six years as head of performance and five years as department chair. He maintains active professional standing through membership in Actors' Equity Association (AEA), bridging academic instruction with industry engagement.
