André Casal Kulzer

André Casal Kulzer is a Professor at the University of Stuttgart, holding the Chair of Automotive Powertrain Systems at the Institute of Automotive Engineering Stuttgart (IFS) since October 1, 2022. He succeeded Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bargende and oversaw the renaming of the chair to emphasize systemic relevance in vehicle drive research.

As a member of the Board of Management at FKFS (Research Institute for Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engines Stuttgart), he bridges academic and industrial research. His work spans combustion processes, regenerative fuels, and electrified drive development.
