Prof. Dr. András Torma is currently the Rector of the University of Miskolc (2013–present) and a University Professor. He previously served as Dean (2012–2013), Deputy Dean (2004–2012), and Institute Director (2007–2012). His career spans over three decades at the University of Miskolc, where he began as a University Lecturer in 1984.

His research focuses on Public and Administrative Law, with subfields including legal informatics, EU institutional systems, and regional policy.
