Andrey Bakin

Prof. Dr. Andrey Bakin serves as a Professor at the Institute of Semiconductor Technology within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Physics at Technische Universität Braunschweig. His research focuses on advanced semiconductor materials, particularly 2D materials, thin film technologies, and functional oxides, with applications spanning optoelectronics, nanometrology, sensor technology, and photovoltaics. He maintains an active research program with numerous recent publications and collaborations with PTB Braunschweig.

Prof. Bakin's research interests center on the development and characterization of novel semiconductor materials. His work encompasses 2D materials including graphene and gallenene, with emphasis on their synthesis through techniques like VPE, MBE, and MOCVD.
