Andreas Waag

Prof. Dr. Andreas Waag is a Professor at the Institute of Semiconductor Technology within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Physics at the Technical University of Braunschweig (TU Braunschweig).

Research Interests

Prof. Waag's research spans multiple cutting-edge areas in semiconductor science and technology. His primary focus lies in semiconductor physics with particular emphasis on Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology. He leads research in photonics and optoelectronics, with significant contributions to microLED development.
