Andrew Winden serves as Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon School of Law, teaching transactional business law courses with dual affiliations in the Business Law Program and Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center.

Professor Winden's research examines corporate governance frameworks, securities regulation mechanisms, and sustainability integration within legal systems. His work bridges business law and environmental law disciplines, focusing on regulatory approaches for responsible corporate conduct and ecological stewardship in commercial contexts.
Prior to academia, he practiced as partner at Morrison & Foerster, associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, and Honors Attorney at the U.S. Treasury Department, following a fellowship at Stanford’s Rock Center for Corporate Governance. A Pacific Northwest native, he maintains active family engagement in hiking, surfing, and yoga.
