Professor Andrew Tinker is a Professor of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Queen Mary University of London's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, affiliated with the William Harvey Research Institute and Clinical Pharmacology & Precision Medicine Centre. His career includes training at Oxford and London, followed by pre/postdoctoral research in the UK and USA focusing on cardiac ion channels and molecular mechanisms. He held a Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellowship and a Professorship in Molecular Medicine at University College London before joining Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2011.
