Julia Ramirez

Dr. Julia Ramirez is an Honorary Lecturer in Cardiovascular Data Science and Genetics at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, and a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. She holds dual affiliations with the Clinical Pharmacology research group at QMUL and the Electrogenomics Group, a collaboration between QMUL and University College London.

Research Interests: Focuses on cardiovascular risk stratification through electrocardiogram signal processing, genetic analysis, bioinformatics, epidemiology, and machine learning. Her work integrates multi-modal data to predict sudden cardiac death risks.

Roles: Leads projects on genotype-phenotype analysis and ECG morphology changes. Serves as a member of the International Genetic Epidemiology Society and American Society of Human Genetics.
