Andrew Sofer is a Professor of English at Boston College, specializing in theatre/performance studies, Shakespeare, modern drama, and creative writing. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and has taught globally, including at Harvard’s Mellon School of Theater and Performance Research (2012–2022). His research explores themes like invisibility, props, and philosophical intersections with theatre.
