Andrew Skelton is an Associate Professor, Teaching Stream in Mathematics and Statistics at York University, specializing in mathematics pedagogy and transition support. As Coordinator of the Mathematics for Education program, he focuses on improving student transitions from secondary to post-secondary mathematics. Skelton develops diagnostic tools and curricular resources to address preparation gaps.
His scholarship examines mathematics skill development, online course delivery, and teacher education pathways.
