Andrew Rippeon is an Associate Professor in the English Department at Davidson College, specializing in Writing Program courses. He holds a Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
- Research Focus: American literature (19th century-present), poetry and poetics, material culture, sound studies, and digital/material archives.
- Teaching: Courses include WRI 101 topics on sound/print culture, ENG 245 on book history, and ENG 309 on poetic forms.
- Projects: Founded the Davidson College Letterpress Lab for experiential learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
His edited volume Letters to Jargon (2019) explores Larry Eigner's correspondence, blending archival research with poetic analysis. Current work examines analog/digital textuality intersections.
