Patricio Boyer is an Associate Professor of Hispanic Studies at Davidson College, with affiliations in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Latin American Studies. His research explores colonial Latin American literary and intellectual culture, focusing on historiographical and legal continuities between Spanish and Anglophone imperial projects in the New World.
