Dr. Andrew Newberg is an Adjunct Faculty in Humanistic Psychology at Saybrook University, specializing in neurotheology and mind-body relationships. His research examines mystical experiences, meditation, acupuncture, and integrative medicine therapies. With over 250 peer-reviewed publications and 14 translated books, he explores brain function through religious experiences and neurophysiology.
Research Focus: Neuroimaging of spiritual practices, physiological correlates of meditation, and clinical applications of mind-body therapies across diverse populations.
