Andrew Kliskey is President’s Professor of Community & Landscape Resilience and Director of the University of Idaho Center for Resilient Communities (CRC). He also serves as Idaho EPSCoR Director, overseeing the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research. His expertise spans social-ecological systems science, behavioral geography, GIS, and policy analysis, with a focus on interdisciplinary methodologies combining stakeholder engagement, scenario analysis, and geospatial modeling.

Research interests include community and landscape resilience, with over 20 years of work in Maori communities (New Zealand), rural Canada, Alaska Indigenous communities, and Idaho. He leads NSF Innovations at the Nexus of Food, Energy, and Water Systems (INFEWS) projects. His roles span academic leadership, grant administration, and community-driven research initiatives.
