Andrew Greenwald is an Associate Professor of Music at Connecticut College since 2019 and Artist-in-Residence at Marlboro College with the Marlboro Slipstream Faculty Ensemble. He teaches music theory, composition, electronic music, and orchestration.

His research probes coherence in musical form through Algorithmic Music, Electronic Music, and Intermedia, blending improvisation with notated composition. Specializations span Hip-Hop, Rock and Roll, American Music, and Experimental Music, with works performed internationally by ensembles like JACK Quartet and Arditti Quartet.
