Dr. Andrew Eamens is Lecturer in Biomedical Science at UniSC, researching small RNA-mediated gene regulation in male reproduction. His work examines transgenerational epigenetic effects of environmental pollutants on sperm function and epididymal biology.
Research focuses on microRNA/siRNA roles in post-testicular sperm maturation and responses to environmental stressors. He develops novel RNA-based gene manipulation tools and studies epigenetic inheritance patterns following toxicant exposure.
With appointments at CSIRO and multiple universities previously, he teaches physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology while mentoring HDR students in molecular genetics.
