Daniel Spade

Daniel Spade is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Brown University. He holds a PhD in Veterinary Medical Sciences with a Toxicology concentration from the University of Florida (2011) and completed postdoctoral training at Brown University (2011-2018).

Dr. Spade's research explores male reproductive toxicity, focusing on two primary projects: (1) the impacts of environmental chemicals and phthalates on fetal testis development, and (2) the role of sperm RNA as biomarkers of fertility and reproductive toxicity. His work integrates developmental biology, toxicogenomics, and automated cellular analysis to address environmental health risks.

Key publication trends include studies on phthalate exposure (2015-2025), retinoic acid interactions (2018-2022), sperm transcriptomics (2017-2025), and testicular development models (2013-2025). His work spans environmental toxicology, reproductive biology, and computational pathology applications.
