Andrew Darcy is an Associate Clinical Professor at Seton Hall University School of Law, leading the Health Justice Clinic. His work focuses on addressing civil legal matters impacting health equity, particularly through housing law and civil rights advocacy. He previously managed a Fair Housing Project at Mobilization for Justice (MFJ) and practiced complex litigation at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Education: Graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall Law School and summa cum laude from Fordham University. He clerked for U.S. District Judge Katharine S. Hayden (2012-2013).
Research interests center on housing discrimination, fair housing policy, and equitable legal remedies. His recent scholarship addresses New York City’s public housing reforms, federal court roles in historical discrimination, and state law applications for advancing fair housing.
He co-taught the Civil Litigation and Practice Clinic and Residential Landlord-Tenant Law. Prior roles include supervising MFJ’s eviction defense program and founding their Fair Housing Project.
Labs/Teams: Directly oversees the Health Justice Clinic and collaborates with the Seton Hall Law Center for Social Justice on projects like eviction defense, farmworker rights, and housing justice initiatives.
