Dr. Andres Molina is a Senior Research Fellow at the Mitchell Institute, Victoria University, specializing in educational and social inequality, school segregation, and international comparative education. He holds a PhD from Victoria University (VicMelb), a Master's in International Comparative Education from Stanford University, and a Sociology degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His interdisciplinary work combines quantitative methods with policy analysis to address systemic inequities in education systems across Chile, Australia, and the U.S.
Key research focuses include the consequences of school segregation on social cohesion and institutional trust, longitudinal studies of student outcomes, and the role of education in mitigating socioeconomic disparities.
