Andreas Rühmkorf

Prof. Dr. Andreas Rühmkorf serves as a Professor for German and International Business Law at the Westfälische Hochschule since 2022. Formerly, he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield (2013–2022) and a lecturer at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (2012–2016). His academic work bridges German and English legal systems.

Currently leads the DFG-funded project "Human rights in global supply chains: Measuring the effectiveness of home state regulatory models on corporate behaviour" in collaboration with BIICL, analyzing laws like Germany’s LkSG.

Teaching:
Teaches courses on international company law, comparative corporate governance, CSR in supply chains, and commercial law.
