Andreas Heidbuechel

Prof. Andreas Heidbuechel is a Professor at the Department of Nutritional Science, Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, where he teaches Business Administration with a focus on Service Management. He has held this position since 2002. His professional background includes roles as a Social Marketing Advisor for the Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V. (1994–2001) and work in strategic consulting in Düsseldorf (1990–1994). He earned his degree in Business Administration from the University of Cologne (1985–1990).

Research interests include service management, nonprofit fundraising, and social marketing strategies. He actively participates in institutional governance, chairing committees such as the Budget Committee, Quality Improvement Commission, and Long-Term Project Commission. His workshop on fundraising methodologies demonstrates engagement in applied research for social work sectors.
