Dr. Andrea Thoma is a Lecturer in Art and Design at the University of Leeds, serving as Director of International Activities. She holds a PhD (2013) from the University of Leeds, with a thesis titled *Thought Dwellings: Time and Space in Painting, Photography and Video*, and a Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique (1988). Her research focuses on intermediality, image perception, and the intersection of art and place. She has exhibited widely across Europe, the UK, and the US, including solo and group exhibitions since 2004.
