Andrea Siodmok is Professor and Dean of the School of Design at RMIT University, Visiting Professor at Northumbria University, and Governor of Glasgow School of Art. An industrial designer by training, her transdisciplinary practice spans technology, policy innovation, and futures thinking. She previously served as Chief Impact Officer at the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) and founded the UK Government's Cabinet Office Policy Innovation Unit.
Her research focuses on strategic design methodologies, policy innovation frameworks, co-design approaches for social innovation, urban technology integration, and metrics for design impact assessment. She developed the globally recognized 'Double Diamond' design methodology with over 50 million views.
Professor Siodmok has received numerous honors including an OBE for public service and the Royal Society of Arts Bicentenary Medal. She has advised international organizations including the United Nations and European Commission, and has delivered executive programs for leading institutions globally.
