Andrea Ragusa is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry (SSD Chim/08) at Link Campus University in Rome. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Parma (2001) and a Ph.D. in Supramolecular Chemistry from Southampton University, UK (2005), under Prof. J.D. Kilburn. His research focuses on bioactive molecules extraction, enzyme inhibitors, chemotherapeutic drugs, tumor markers, and early diagnostic methods. He has held positions at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (NNL), Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), and the University of Salento (Lecce), where he taught Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Applied Pharmaceutical Chemistry from 2018 to 2024.

His research interests include innovative drug design, natural product isolation, and diagnostic methodologies. He actively supervises students' final dissertations in Biotechnology and Medical Biotechnology programs.
