Andrea Palinski is a Lecturer in Mental Health at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), based within the Unit of Psychological Medicine in the Centre for Psychiatry and Mental Health. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the same institution. Her academic background includes a BA in Biology and Anthropology from Hamilton College (USA) and an MSc in Medical Anthropology from University College London (UCL).

- 2008: Lead of Cultural Consultation Service (CCS) at South London and Maudsley NHS Trust
- 2010–2012: Team Leader of PCT-commissioned CCS directed by Prof. Kam Bhui
- 2012–present: Lecturer on QMUL's MSc in Mental Health Programmes
- Former Visiting Lecturer at Institute of Psychiatry and Goldsmiths, University of London
Research Focus: Her work examines cultural inequality in mental healthcare, shared narratives in clinical encounters, and organizational dynamics in healthcare systems. Current PhD research explores ethnographic data from the CCS to understand narrative construction in intercultural settings.
