Andrea Moscariello is a Full Professor of Geo-Energy/Reservoir Geology and Basin Analysis at the University of Geneva's Department of Earth Sciences within the Faculty of Science. He joined UNIGE in 2011 and leads the GE-RGBA research group, focusing on geothermal energy, reservoir characterization, and sedimentological studies.
- Education: PhD in Geology (1996, University of Geneva), M.Sc. in Geological Sciences (1990, University of Turin).
- Industry Experience: Over 15 years in the energy sector, including roles at Shell, TNO, and consultancy firms like SGS Horizon.
Research interests span geothermal reservoirs, basin analysis, and sedimentology. His team's projects include geothermal exploration in Switzerland, CO2 storage, and fluvial fan systems. Collaborations involve institutions like the University of Freiburg and Texas Tech University.
