Dr. Andie Reynolds is a Teaching Fellow in Learning in Communities and Programme Director of the MSc Social Justice and Community Action at the University of Edinburgh’s Moray House School of Education and Sport. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from Northumbria University and has extensive experience in academia, civil society, and education sectors across six countries. Her work focuses on social justice, community development, and youth empowerment.

Her research interests include refugee education, youth mental health, and policy analysis for social justice. She has led projects such as the Situational Analysis on Female Participation in Teacher Training in Refugee Contexts (UNICEF-funded) and co-leads the Children and Young People Research Hub’s Knowledge Exchange initiatives. Reynolds is also a trustee for the Community Development Alliance and Survivors of Human Trafficking in Scotland.
Her teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Policy Analysis for Social Justice and Activist Social Research. She mentors PhD students exploring methodologies like decolonial and feminist approaches.
