Dr. Anat Keller is a Reader in Law at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London, since 2016. Previously, she taught at UCL (2007–2016). She holds a PhD from Queen Mary University of London, an LLM from LSE, and first-class degrees in Management and Law. A qualified solicitor in England and Wales, she serves as Deputy Chief Examiner of the University of London. Her research focuses on financial regulation, macroprudential policy, and banking law, with notable works including her 2020 monograph on macroprudential policy's legal foundations. She is a Research Fellow at King's Business School's Centre for Data Analytics for Finance and Macroeconomics, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Her research explores themes such as purposeful organizational culture in finance, ESG compliance for SMEs, and climate risk management. She leads the British Academy-funded project 'Operationalising Purposeful Culture in Financial Firms to Deliver Better Outcomes for Consumers.' Teaching includes Banking Law (LLM/LLB) and FinTech regulation. Her recent publications address central bank capital in climate crises, AI governance in finance, and systemic risks posed by emerging technologies. She frequently collaborates with institutions like the Bank of Italy and co-edits volumes on financial governance.
