Dr. Martin Bengtzen is a Lecturer in Corporate and Commercial Law (Online Programmes) at King's College London, based in The Dickson Poon School of Law. He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford and an LLM from Harvard Law School, both focusing on corporate law. Before joining King's, he taught at the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics (LSE), and worked as a corporate lawyer in New York and a corporate finance advisor in London.
His research focuses on the future of capital markets regulation, the effectiveness of legislation in shaping corporate behavior, and empirical methods in legal research. He has published works on SEC enforcement, global securities markets, investor transparency, and transnational regulatory conflicts.
