Anastacia Greene is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Clinical Education and Director of the Consumer Protection Legal Clinic at the William H. Bowen School of Law, University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She previously taught at the Immigration Clinic at the University of Florida Levin School of Law and the Pro Bono Clinic at UIC. She holds a B.A. from Westminster College and a J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law.
Her research focuses on consumer protection, immigration law, public interest advocacy, housing law, and environmental law. She has represented low-income clients in evictions, foreclosures, and debt collection cases, and her work intersects with global legal frameworks addressing climate change and human rights.
Her publications explore topics like ecocide’s legal implications, climate migration, and international family law. Notable works include analyzing obsolete immigration laws for climate crisis victims (Belmont Law Review, 2022) and examining ecocide as an international crime (Fordham Envtl. L. Rev., 2019).
Greene’s career emphasizes public interest law, and she currently oversees the Consumer Protection Clinic, empowering students to advocate for marginalized communities. She collaborates with legal clinics and institutions to advance equitable access to justice.
