Ana Urpia serves as an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB), affiliated with the Center for Culture, Languages and Applied Technologies (CECULT) and the Interdisciplinary Studies and General Formation Nucleus (NUVEM). Her academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and postdoctoral research at the Nucleus for Interdisciplinary Studies on Women, Gender and Feminisms (NEIM/UFBA) focusing on Gender, alterities and inequality.
