Ana Oskoz

Ana Oskoz is a Professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in the Department of Modern Languages, Linguistics & Intercultural Communication. She currently serves as Associate Dean in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and was previously the department Chair from 2018 to 2022. Her work bridges technology and second language acquisition, focusing on how digital tools can enhance language learning and intercultural competence.

• Research Interests: Technology in second language acquisition, collaborative writing, intercultural competence, digital literacy, and online learning environments.
