Ana Nordberg is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Law, Lund University. She holds affiliations with multiple research centers including Health Law, Human Rights Law, and the Lund University Centre for Business Law (ACLU). Her research focuses on Intellectual Property Law, Patent Law, and technology regulation, particularly in emerging technologies affecting health and sustainability. She explores intersections with data protection, medical law, and human rights. Nordberg has contributed to national and international legal frameworks, including WHO principles and EU health data policies. She leads projects like AICARE (AI and Health Rights) and KONSERTX (legal tools for digital concerts).
Her research interests span AI, robotics, digitalization, nanotechnology, and genome editing. Nordberg has received awards such as the EliteForsk Travel Grant (2012) and Nytt & Nyttigt Prize (2011). She actively participates in interdisciplinary initiatives like the Lund University Digital Interactive Concert Hall (LUDICH) and advises on ethical challenges in precision medicine and mood enhancement technologies.
