Ana-Mariya Ilcheva serves as a Part-time Lecturer in Private Law at the University of Côte d'Azur, affiliated with the Faculty of Law and the Research Group in Law, Economics, Management (GREDEG - UMR 7321 CNRS). She actively contributes to the Pole Norms, Competition and Regulation (PNCR) and Team EDEN (Nice School of Economic Law), while also participating in the interdisciplinary GDR 2032 ClimaLex research group focused on climate change law under Marta Torre-Schaub.

She investigates intersections between environmental regulation, business operations, and sustainable development, with particular emphasis on competition law, consumer protection, and corporate environmental accountability. Her scholarship bridges theoretical legal philosophy with practical regulatory challenges in climate governance.

Academic Leadership: She has designed and delivered specialized courses including Climate Change and Biodiversity Law, Philosophy of Environmental Law, and Corporate Law across Bachelor's, Master's, and engineering programs since 2016. Her teaching spans the IUT of Nice, ISEM, and Polytech, demonstrating commitment to interdisciplinary legal education.
Research Infrastructure: As core member of GREDEG's PNCR pole and EDEN team, she contributes to France's national climate law research ecosystem through GDR 2032 ClimaLex, fostering collaboration between legal scholars, economists, and climate scientists.
