Thierry Marteu serves as a Lecturer in private law at Côte d'Azur University's Faculty of Law and Political Science. He is affiliated with the Research Group in Law, Economics, Management (GREDEG) and actively participates in the Pole Norms, Competition and Regulation (PNCR) and the EDEN team (Nice School of Economic Law).
His research spans intellectual property law, economic law, corporate law, and the law of companies in difficulty, focusing on the intersection of legal frameworks and economic systems. He investigates regulatory challenges in business environments, particularly concerning corporate distress and competitive practices within modern market structures.
As part of the EDEN team at the Nice School of Economic Law, Dr. Marteu contributes to interdisciplinary research examining how legal norms shape economic behavior. His work within the PNCR pole addresses contemporary issues in regulatory design and competition policy across European legal contexts.
