Amy Davis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Eastern Illinois University. Her work focuses on elementary literacy, multicultural education, and strategies for multilingual learners. She holds a PhD from Kansas State University and has over a decade of K-12 teaching experience in Wichita, Kansas, including roles as an ESL teacher and Learning Coach. Dr. Davis completed a post-doctorate in multicultural advocacy and has been recognized with awards such as the 2024 Achievement & Contribution Award and the 2022 Student Distinguished Professor Award.
