Gidget Dinkel

Gidget Dinkel has been affiliated with Sterling College since August 2013, serving as a Lecturer in education-related disciplines. She teaches professional education courses and elementary education programs for both Secondary and Elementary Majors. Her role includes academic advising, helping students design degree plans aligned with the college's mission.

She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Kansas Wesleyan University, an M.S. in Education from Baker University, and an ESL endorsement from Kansas State University. Her professional background includes eight years as an elementary teacher with extensive experience supporting English Language Learners and serving as a reading mentor for K-6 students.

Additionally, Dinkel contributes to the Upward Bound program at Kansas State University and teaches English online to 5-12 year-olds in China via VIPKID. Her work bridges classroom instruction, academic advising, and cross-cultural educational outreach.
