Amy Aggelou serves as Assistant Professor and Director of the Athletic Training Program at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Department of Sports Medicine and Nutrition. With 20 years of faculty experience and 30 years as a practicing athletic trainer across high school, collegiate, and professional settings, she previously held the role of Clinical Education Coordinator for a decade and maintains active leadership in national professional organizations.
Her educational credentials include:

- Master of Science in Sports Medicine, University of North Carolina
- Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, University of Pittsburgh
Aggelou's expertise spans Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, and Rehabilitation Science, with specialized focus on emergency response protocols including CPR/AED instruction, Stop the Bleed techniques, and concussion management. Her clinical background directly informs curriculum development and hands-on training approaches for athletic training students.
