Kevin McLaughlin is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Health and Human Development at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Education. With over 30 years of Aquatics experience, he holds a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s of Education from Pitt, where he was a swim team athlete and captain. He is a 20-year certified American Red Cross Instructor Trainer, specializing in Safety Training for Swim Coaches, First Aid, CPR, and Aquatic Instruction.
His instructional responsibilities include teaching courses such as Intermediate Swimming, Lifeguarding, CPR/FPR-AED, and Group Fitness Instructor. He is certified in Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Health and Safety for Coaches.
