Dr. Amna Yousaf is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Swinburne University of Technology's School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship. She holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior (HRM/OB) from the University of Twente, Netherlands (2010). Prior to joining Swinburne in 2017, she worked at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan (2011–2017) and has served as a Dissertation Advisor for the University of Liverpool’s online Management Programs since 2015.
Her research focuses on HR practices, leadership, employee attitudes, corporate gender diversity, and sustainability. She has published in top journals including International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Business Review, and Journal of Managerial Psychology, and presented at conferences such as the Academy of Management Annual Meeting (USA) and British Academy of Management (UK). Key interests include HRM-organizational outcomes linkages, leadership styles, work engagement, and boardroom gender diversity.
Dr. Yousaf is actively engaged in HDR supervision, focusing on PhD projects addressing gender equality in leadership, knowledge management in SMEs, and counterproductive work behaviors. She has also served on the AHRI Committee (2018–2021) and contributes to teaching and professional development in Management disciplines.
