Roohi Imtiaz is a Lecturer in Human Resources at Teesside University's Leadership, Management & Human Resources School. She holds a PhD from the University of Karachi focusing on socio-economic development through HRD in Pakistan and Malaysia. Her roles include Deputy Course Leader for MSc International Business Management & HR, Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) Link Tutor, and membership in Quality Assurance & Validation (QAV) and Future of Work Research Committees. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), emphasizing pedagogical innovation.
Education: PhD in socioeconomic uplifting (2016, University of Karachi), complemented by external reviewer roles at the same institution and guest editorship at MDPI's Sustainability journal. Her research focuses on HRM resilience, workplace diversity, and socio-economic development aligned with SDGs.
