Amina Antonia Touzos is a PhD researcher at Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz, affiliated with the DFG research group "CORE – Critical Online Reasoning in Higher Education" (DFG FOR 5404) under Prof. Dr. Mita Banerjee's project B06. She completed the high potential doctoral training group "DIAPASON: Digital Information Landscape and its Impact on Students’ Online Learning" at JGU in 2024.
- B.Ed. and M.Ed. in English and Philosophy from JGU Mainz
- Participated in Obama Institute’s Direct Exchange Program to Georgia State University and ERASMUS teaching program GET Across Borders to Paisley
Her research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to video game studies, medical humanities, narrative medicine, gender/queer studies, and education studies. She has participated in Harvard University’s Institute for World Literature (2022-2023).
