Ambra L Green

Dr. Ambra L. Green is an Associate Professor and Interim Department Chair of Higher Education, Adult Learning, and Organizational Studies at UT Arlington. With expertise in special education and behavioral interventions, her research addresses educational equity and discipline disparities affecting students of color with disabilities.

Research Focus: Green develops culturally responsive frameworks to reduce exclusionary discipline practices through Multi-Tiered Support Systems (MTSS). Her work examines how teacher practices and district policies contribute to disproportionate outcomes.

Leadership: Vice President of Texas CEC and editorial board member for multiple special education journals. Recognized with teaching awards and Top Article distinctions for research advancing equitable practices in psychology and education.
