Amber Tarrac is a Lecturer at the School of Public Affairs within the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts at San Diego State University. With over two decades of experience in local/state government and non-profit sectors, she specializes in economic development, workforce development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. She has administered over $22 million in small business and community grants and $15 million in workforce development contracts.

Amber previously held roles at the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development, Employment Training Panel, and San Diego County, serving as a policy advisor. She also led the San Diego County Latino Association and contributed to professional development training for California counties.
