Amber Hammons

Amber Hammons is a Professor and Department Chair of Child and Family Science at California State University, Fresno. As a developmental psychologist, her research focuses on family health and sustainable behavioral change through whole family participation, family routines, and social support. She applies family systems and social cognitive theories, as well as the socio-ecological framework, to her work.

Experience:

Before joining Fresno State in 2012, she served as a Research Associate at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign for three years.
