Dr Amanda Norman is a Senior Lecturer in Early Years at the University of Winchester, part of the Faculty of Education and the Arts. Her roles include leading modules on infant pedagogies, historical play, and early childhood research. She has extensive experience in early childhood education, nursery management, and play therapy, with a focus on infant emotional care and historical childcare practices. Norman has authored numerous books and articles on topics like transitional objects, person-centered approaches, and maternal well-being.
