Amanda Harmon is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Christian University, where she works with both online and on-campus students. Her research bridges developmental psychology and family studies, focusing on neurodevelopmental disabilities and family reunification programs.

Her methodological contributions focus on salivary biomarkers in child development studies, emphasizing technical rigor in measuring cortisol and alpha-amylase. Later work expands into faith integration in psychology, self-esteem, and family-focused interventions.
Dr. Harmon is affiliated with the Southeastern Psychological Association and mentors students in research presentations. She integrates Christian faith with psychological education, serving at New Life Baptist Church with her husband, Dr. Billy Harmon.
