Michael Shipe is an Associate Professor and Director of the Kinesiology Program at Charleston Southern University (CSU), where he joined in 2012. He concurrently serves as Assistant Dean of the College of Health Sciences, overseeing the Athletic Training, Public Health, and Clinical Counseling programs. Prior to CSU, he held department chair and faculty positions in Exercise Science at Carson Newman University for seven years and worked as Assistant Director of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at Blount Memorial Hospital.
